Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Hike Crew backpacking stove. It's a one burner stove rated at 7,500 BTUs. Folks, this is a great option. It's sturdy, compact, it's gonna be great for backpacking, lets you cook meals, boil water at the campsite or on the trail.
Now, it does work with a threaded isobutane propane canister not included. And that canister looks something like this with the whole unit whenever it's installed underneath the unit. So, just keep that in mind. It does not come with that isobutane propane canister. It's a high efficiency burner that is built into this unit down here on the bottom.
And that's gonna give you the efficiency you need and the gas that you need for lighting and boiling water or whatnot. You've got the little adapter here that would hold your kettle. You got a silicone lid here. It's vented. It's got holes pre-drilled into the lid.
It's gonna help vent out steam, so nothing's like boiling over too much. When it's time to put it away, you simply squeeze the handle and you'll fold it back over itself. And then, you'll squeeze it to open it up. And then, it does have the base here. The propane canister or the butane canister would sit on there once you have it in place.
And then it would be like that, like the image I showed you. And you get a nice mesh bag to put it in whenever you're not using everything. Now, you can use stainless steel, copper, aluminum. Everything here is gonna work great. It's gonna ensure reliability. And again, you're gonna get everything here included. So, when it's time to put it away, everything here folds. We're gonna fold that up. And everything will go back down inside of the unit itself for storage. Now obviously, you wanna make sure everything's nice and cool. Put everything inside, put the lid on. Again, squeeze the handle together. That closes, it kind of keeps everything locked up. And then, you can put it inside the included mesh bag. And then, simply cinch down that draw string. And now, you're ready to go on your way. A great option, folks. Now, without the fuel canister assembled, the whole thing's about 10 and a half inches tall, give or take. And whenever it's stowed like it is now and everything, it's about 10 and a half inches tall as well. So, the footprint doesn't get much bigger than when it is when it's assembled or closed like it is now. So, a lot of different things can fit inside your pack. This can be one of 'em. It's a great option. The whole thing only weighs about 21 ounces, so it's another light thing you can put inside your pack and have when you need it on the trail. Folks, it is gonna be a wrap for us today. Thanks for watching. As always, have a great day and stay safe while you're towing.
